ELIXIR on Cloud
Run your data analytics in ELIXIR’s federated cloud environment
ELIXIR on Cloud will allow ELIXIR users to run their containerized computational workloads across a federation of compute centers hosted by the various ELIXIR Nodes. Work is distributed across the network according to requirements imposed on each workload individually, such as data use limitations or time and cost constraints. This is great for large scale data analytics, or if your input data resides at various sites.
ELIXIR on Cloud infrastructure is designed with the FAIR Principles in mind and is built entirely around Open Standards defined by the global life science community, making it highly extensible, interoperable and future-proof. Currently it supports the execution of individual containerized commands, as well as the execution of cloud-ready CWL and Snakemake workflows.
Note that ELIXIR on Cloud is still in pre-release, and therefore is not open to all ELIXIR users. To gain access, please reach out to us, so that we can discuss your individual requirements and develop a plan to best serve your use case.
